Bound in contemporary full green morocco with gilt ruled boards decorated with ornate corner-pieces, five raised bands with gilt titles and elaborately tolled compartments, gilt board edges and inner dentelles, yellow endpapers, all edges gilt.Some restoration to spines, calf light rubbed/scuffed in places, some occasional minor marking, hinge joints have some minor wear lines, all boards firmly attached, all joints strong. Internally, no loose pages, some offsetting and browning. Pages and engraved portraits in good clean condition. A very good set, in very attractive contemporary bindings. A93. HB
