Collation,173+iiipp+ 6 full page engraved plates, text woodblock illustrations, +1 double and 2 single page line illustrations, plus coloured map. Bound in original publishers cloth, rubbed on head and tail of spine, and corners with slight wear loss, some general wear and light staining, but binding in good condition. Internally, some light spotting to illustrations mainly to margins, 1 page has heavy browning, map with short closed tear, just encroaching onto edge of engraved area, generally text and illustrations in good clean condition. A good solid copy. Book measures 23x29cms.
